Maldives Immigration Launches Call Centre

On 18th December, inauguration was held for the introduction of Call Centre services by Immigrations Maldives. The ceremony was honored by the presence of Defense Minister Mariya Didi. Through this Call Centre, the public can access information on all services provided by Immigrations by simply dialing 1434.

As Controller General Mohamed Ahmed Hussain and Minister Mariya Didi stated, this Call Centre is very important and will be beneficial to Maldivians in various ways. Being unable to access the desired information is one of the biggest issues faced by the public in Maldives. Through this service, information failure regarding immigration would be solved. Residents will be able to access information despite their location in Maldives. The Minister further states that it is vital to provide passport services throughout the country and that the Government always aims to provide services to the public without any discrimination.
