The airline connects the atolls, providing customers with safe and convenient air transportation bringing our island nation intact and united. Maldivian also acts as a major link between aviation and tourism within the country and beyond welcoming guests to discover and experience the beauty and opportunities that Maldives has to offer.

With the addition of the airbus A320 to the Maldivian fleet, the national airline has spread its wings to Chennai in India and Dhaka in Bangladesh in 2012. In 2015, Bangkok was added to the network and to cater to the demands of the tourism industry, Maldivian operates to several cities in China.
