Meet Ahmed Azhyn- The New Reservations Manager At The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands

The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands located in the scenic North Male’ Atoll has announced that they have appointed Ahmed Azhyn as the Reservations Manager of the resort, effective from 19th October 2022.

Azhyn began his career in 2001 as a Graphic Designer working at one of the largest printing publishers in the country, Novelty Printer & Publisher Pvt Ltd. His first brush with the hospitality industry came two years later when he stepped in as Reservations Agent at Paradise Island Resort. At Paradise, his competency was marked and he excelled in Property Management Systems.

Since then, Azheen has done several stints at some of the renowned resorts in the Maldives, taking up different roles during his career. This includes serving as Senior Reservations Agent at Filitheyo Island Resort & Spa in 2008 and helming the Front Office operations at Medhufushi Island Resort in 2014 as the Front Office Executive.

In 2016, Azhyn played an integral part in the pre-opening team of St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort as the Reservations Agent. His commendable services during that time were very much appreciated and he was promoted to the position of Assistant Reservations Manager at the resort.

Prior to joining the team at The Ritz Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands, Azhyn has been previously employed at Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa as their Reservations Manager. He holds two diplomas in Audio Engineering and Hospitality & Tourism Management and is a highly-motivated individual.
