JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa will welcome Aysha Al Obeidli, 13, who has been dubbed the UAE's youngest Emirati chef, for a unique collaboration with the resort's Maldivian chef, Aminath Abdul Rasheed. On July 1, 2022, they will serve a culinary feast featuring an array of Arabian and Maldivian flavors.
Between July 2nd and July 12th, both chefs will collaborate to create an Arabian-Maldivian fusion menu that guests can enjoy at Aailaa, the resort's vibrant international cuisine all-day dining venue, in honor of Eid Al Adha.
“We are extremely excited to team up with Chef Aysha to present a unique menu in conjunction to the Eid Al Adha celebration on the island, and to combine her expertise with our skilled Maldivian Chef for a local touch,” expressing his enthusiasm over the collab is Bir Yadav, the Executive Chef of JW Marriott Maldives. “It is a great way to showcase both cultures through a culinary journey to our guests from the region and beyond.” He adds.
During a cooking class with Chef Aysha, younger guests will have the opportunity to learn from the talented young chef firsthand. Chef Aysha will prepare one of her favorite recipes for participants to recreate during the one-time class, which is open to children staying at the property on July 1st.
To make summer travel as easy as possible, the five-star resort has created "Savour the Endless," an all-inclusive package that includes all of the perks of a luxury island stay without any of the hassles. Guests who stay for more than three nights will receive a 20% discount as well as daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner in one of five restaurants.
With teamwork as one of its core values, JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa creates a unique environment for children through its JW Marriott Maldives Program, which includes 100 events and a variety of activities at the Little Griffins Kids Club.
