Joining the crew, is two new appointees, set to take the resort’s operations to a new level with their skills and experience. Mr David Castaño has been named the new General Manager at Milaidhoo Maldives along with Mr Zayan Fayaz, as the new PR & Communications Manager.
David Castaño, a native of Spain, has a wealth of expertise thanks to his employment at some of the world's most opulent resorts in places like Bhutan, the Cook Islands, Tanzania, Chile, and New Zealand. David is a natural leader in his new position and will make sure that Milaidhoo consistently delivers the excellent and distinctive guest experiences based on the company's idea and brand promise.
In his most recent experiences, David has placed a strong emphasis on winning awards by successfully upholding the strict standards of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) brand internationally.

Maldivian national, Zayan Fayaz has experience in a range of sectors. He has experience in the financial sector in addition to the hospitality sector, and he has also owned and operated his own advertising agency. He offers to Milaidhoo a wealth of knowledge in the areas of marketing, public relations, and design.
Most recently, Zayan served as the Marketing and Communications Manager for a luxury hotel in Dubai. Zayan's responsibilities at Milaidhoo will include overseeing the luxury boutique resort's alliances, marketing, and media relations.
