Minor International Expands Maldives Portfolio with Kuda Rah Acquisition

Minor International, a leading global hospitality group, has acquired Kuda Rah Resort from Sri Lanka-based Amaya. This acquisition supports Minor's strategy to enhance its footprint in the Maldives.

The resort, set to be rebranded as NH Maldives Kuda Rah Resort, will become the second NH Hotels property in the region. Located a 25-minute seaplane ride from Malé, the resort features 51 beach and overwater pool villas. Guests will enjoy amenities including a lagoon, a spa, and exceptional dining experiences.

The rebranding will involve refurbishing the property to meet NH Hotels' standards. This move solidifies Minor International’s dedication to growing its presence in top leisure destinations worldwide.

With this addition, Minor now operates seven resorts in the Maldives, including Anantara and Avani properties.
