Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation(MMPRC) is representing Maldives and connecting with top-tier travel trade buyers at the ILTM Cannes 2022. Alongside 14 industry partners, MMPRC will be marketing the Maldives and its unique experiences to affluent travelers from the French market. The ILTM Cannes 2022 is held at Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, Cannes France from the 5th to the 8th of December 2022.
Ranked amongst the largest luxury travel trade fairs worldwide, ILTM Cannes provides a platform for French travel partners and other markets to host meetings with highly-sought after travel designers and esteemed hospitality brands and destinations. The fair extends to four days and includes education sessions, entertainment, networking and most importantly, high-level exposure to the global travel trade.
The Maldives has earned its name in the affluent travel circle as an ultra-luxurious destination offering deluxe products, tailored services and high-end experiences. By participating in this fair, MMPRC will be further expanding its promotional efforts in high-end tourism by advertising the various segments and indulgent experiences awaiting at the Sunny Side of Life. As such, the corporation would be providing the latest information about the destination and its offerings to the French and other prominent markets for the Maldives.
The Maldives’ stand at ILTM will serve the same purpose, designed to reflect the aspects of high-end tourism. Throughout the fair, MMPRC will be giving destination information and promotional materials to visitors, conducting trade surveys to determine more about the market and pre-arranging B2B meetings with travel trade partners. Through this, MMPRC hopes to connect and network with French trade buyers, strengthen existing relations and showcase the unique geography and experiences of the Maldives that makes it ideal for an opulent vacation.
In addition to this, the fair will also help to increase Maldives’ brand presence in the market and boost arrivals from France for high-end segments. Furthermore, the platform provides a great opportunity for industry partners to collaborate, discuss business deals and exhibit their individual properties and experiences to visitors. As of November 9th, Maldives welcomed 40,048 tourists from France with the French market residing at 7th position of the top source markets.
