MMPRC Launches VR Experience of Maldives To People Of Dubai

Maldives Marketing and Public Relations (MMPRC) in association with Musafir.com has kick-started an exciting marketing campaign in the heart of Dubai, at the City Center Deira Mall! Visitors to the mall will now get the opportunity to experience Maldives through Virtual Reality from May 10th to 16th, as part of the biggest marketing tactics by Visit Maldives.

At this Virtual Reality Booth, visitors can enjoy the breathtaking scenes of different areas of Maldives, with the goal of inspiring more people from Dubai and the Middle East to come visit in person. Furthermore, two targeted social media posts and a contest post will be posted on Musafir.com's Facebook and Instagram pages throughout this campaign.

Every day of the campaign, stories about the Maldives will also be posted on both platforms, and emails with information or adverts about the destination will be sent to the Musafir.com database, which has over 300 thousand users!

This campaign with Musafir.com is part of Visit Maldives’ Middle East marketing strategy, which aims to maintain Maldives brand exposure and develop Maldives as a top-of-mind destination for nations in this region. The plan also includes promoting the Maldives' distinctiveness as the world's premier destination and market products, which include resorts, guesthouses, hotels, and liveaboards, as well experiences unique to the country.
