This includes scientists, marine conservationists, underwater photographers and videographers and many others. In addition to this, the fair acts as a platform for various exhibitors allowing them to showcase their products.

It also facilitates MMPRC’s aim of widening the audience by targeting at both dive operators and aficionados attending the fair. In doing so, MMPRC is diversifying its promotional reach with the inclusion of all segments.

As well as showcasing the main assets of the industry, the exclusive offerings of the destination will be brought into light especially in the diving and water sports context. The fair also provides a golden opportunity for the corporation to emphasis on the underwater beauty of Maldives to potential travellers from the SEA market.

In the first half of 2022 including July, Maldives welcomed 18,489 tourists from the SEA market. These arrival numbers were achieved through several joint marketing campaigns and participations in fairs. Such other future endeavours are even planned ahead for the SEA market for the remainder of the year.
