MACL Urges For The Removal Of Vessels On Northeast Seawall Of Hulhule’

On Thursday, Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) issued a circular regarding the vessels moored on the northeast seawall of Hulhule’ island. The circular stated that all vessels impinging on the water aerodrome boundary as well as the seawall and revetment of the Northeast side should be removed before 30th September 2022.

The circular mentions that securing vessels up to the seawall and revetment and the water aerodrome boundary by unauthorized vessels are prohibited. Therefore, any vessels not removed past the deadline will be dealt accordingly with the Maldives Police Station through mandatory measures taken by the police.

MACL is a state-owned limited liability company incepted under the Companies Act of the Republic of Maldives. The company is governed by a Board of Directors appointed by the President of Maldives. Their main headquarters are located on the island of Hulhule’.
