MMPRC X Dotcom Arabia To Promote Maldives In High Profile German Locations

Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) partners with outdoor advertising agency, Dotcom Arabia to launch a promotional campaign in the German Market. The campaign which is held in August 2022 aims to display Maldives as a destination among German travelers, while increasing destination presence and brand visibility in the country. The ultimate objective of this campaign is to boost arrival numbers from Germany as a result of the advertising strategies.

Dotcom Arabia is the foremost outdoor advertising agency in the area with more than 5 years of experience in the field. The agency quickly rose to fame in its short years of service and has hosted world-renowned companies such as BBC, Financial Times, The Guardian, Vogue and many more acclaimed names in various industries. Past clients that Dotcom Arabia conducted tourism campaigns for include Saudi Tourism and the elite airline, Ethihad Airways.

As part of the campaign, Dotcom Arabia will feature captivating pictures of the Maldives at Potsdamer Platz-Quartier and the Berlin Airport. The Potsdamer Platz-Quartier is a lively hub pulsating with the hustle and bustle of metropolis Berlin and therefore, will appeal to a large audience. Dotcom Arabia has estimated that the pictures at Platz Quartier will reach an astonishing 5.5 million people! The photographs at the Berlin Airport will be visible to a further 1.2 million travelers, alluring thousands of tourists to our shores. The Agency hopes that by being able to visualize the white sandy beaches and the blue archipelago of the Maldives, it will inspire travelers to book their next vacation in the tropical paradise.

As of July 20th, Maldives has welcomed 73,118 visitors from the German market. MMPRC is continuously working to strengthen destination presence in the Germany and have participated in numerous fairs hosted in the region. This includes the IMEX 2022, IMM Germany and ITB Digital Business Day. 

The corporation has also undertaken many initiatives themselves such as conducting marketing campaigns with TUI Austria, TUI Germany, Condor and FTI during this year. A great deal of exciting events is lined up for the German market in the coming months comprising destination e-learning campaigns, media and influencer familiarization trips and of course the Maldives roadshow in Germany.
