Fathimath Reena To Join The Oaga Team As The New Business Development Director

Fathimath Reena or Inna, is to take the reins at the Oaga Art Resort as the newly appointed Business Development Director. Inna brings 21 years of experience in Sales and Marketing to the table and is well known in the Tourism Industry for her creative methods in developing exclusive guest experiences.

After graduating with a MBA from the French university of Toulouse, Inna specialized in International Hospitality and Management, paving way for her entry into the Tourism Industry.

She began her career as an Administrative Assistant at Sun Travels and Tours and quickly discovered that her passion was in Sales and Marketing. With her highly motivated personality and skill set, she was soon promoted to the position of Assistant Marketing and Sales Manager at the Sun Travels Company. During the course of her career, Inna has filled many roles in the Sun Siyam resorts including working as a Marketing & Sales Manager and Head of Marketing before stepping in as the Director of Marketing.

Inna is committed to bring revolutionary changes to the field of Business Development. A testimony of her hard work and dedication to achieving this goal came in 2018, when she was acknowledged as one of the 20 Most Influential Sales & Marketing Professionals in the Maldives.

After joining the Oaga Art resort’s team she remarked that Oaga wishes to become a game changer in the industry and she is excited to be part of such a phenomenal product. She further stated that Oaga is moulding a product that showcases Maldivian stories and provides local talents a platform to tell these stories in an interactive and never-before-experienced way.

Oaga Art Resort is a new resort built under the one-island-one-resort concept and is set to welcome guests for the first time during the 4th quarter of this year. Located in North Male’ Atoll with only a 45-minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport, the resort is currently scouting for local talents to join their team.
