Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc have commenced disinfection and sanitization procedures at both ferry terminals used in Vilimale’ ferry operations, along with all ferries used for operations subsequent to one of our frontline workers testing positive for COVID19.
MTCC informs that the remaining seven workers who resided at the terminal since last week have now been taken to a quarantine facility. ‘We aim to resume normal ferry operations with replaced frontline workers later tonight following HPA approval. We would also like to assure our commuters and our staff that their safety is our utmost priority.’
