Nominations Are Now Open For Maldives Tourism Awards 2022

Ministry of Tourism has announced that they have opened the nominations for the Maldives Tourism Awards 2022. The Maldives Tourism Awards are prestigious accolades given to various tourism establishments with the aim of recognizing and commemorating the achievements accomplished by different sectors within the Tourism Industry of the Maldives.

Featuring in this year’s edition of the awards include best water sports centre, best dive centre and best travel agency. Nominations are currently open for all 3 categories and Ministry of Tourism will evaluate the nominees on numerous grounds. This includes awarding points based on number of Maldivian employees, the total amount paid in taxes, number of international distinctions received as well as the number of training opportunities provided. Interested and eligible candidates are required to submit nominations latest by 5th September 2022.

In this year’s Maldives Tourism Awards, accolades will be presented across 12 categories with a total of 48 winners crowned in different areas. The Maldives Tourism Awards is hosted as part of the celebrations planned for the Golden Jubilee year of Tourism marked throughout this year.
