In an announcement made by Velana International Airport, US-Bangla Air starts their direct flights operations to Maldives with their first landing on November 19th with 129 passengers on board.
The five-hour flight is scheduled to fly three days a week, every Friday, every Sunday and every Tuesday to Maldives.
With the growing amount of Tourism from Bangladesh to Maldives, the airline made the decision to directly fly, making an easier and hassle-free travel for tourists to both countries.
With an exceptional fare, this decision will definitely bring a rise from the Bangladeshi Market to Maldivian tourism.
Apart from tourism, many migrant workers in Maldives are from Bangladesh, hence this change will definitely make it a lot easier for them to travel in between countries as well.
