Press Release on Rossiya Airline and Air Cairo

Ministry of Tourism has released a press on Rossiya Airline and Air Cairo flight. Rossiya Airline, Russian airline headquartered in Saint Petersburg, will have a flight on 29th April, while Air Cairo, low-fare airline based in Cairo in Egypt, will be departing on 30th April from Velana International Airport.

The Ministry announces that all passengers flying onboard FV/SDM 6266 and SM2051/2 are reminded that Maldives Police Service will only permit vessels/vehicles carrying passengers with confirmed tickets from their respective locations to the airport.

Ministry is also requesting all resorts, guesthouses and island councils to cooperate with the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Foreign affairs, and Tourist Police to provide all the necessary assistance required in transporting the passengers to the airport.
