Qatar Airways is speedily rebuilding its global network which currently stands at over 130 destinations. They are also adding more frequencies to key hubs – and together continue to offer unrivaled connectivity to passengers. Qatar Airways plans to increase to more than 1,200 weekly flights to over 140 destinations by end of July 2021.
In line with this mission, on Monday, the airline announced the launch of operations to Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire via Accra starting from 16th June 2021 – beginning with three weekly flights. This makes it the fourth new destination in Africa announced by the airline since the onset of the pandemic and will increase Qatar Airways’ network in Africa to over 100 weekly flights across 24 destinations. Passengers from Abidjan will also be able to enjoy more flexible travel options via the most connected and Best Airport in the Middle East, Hamad International Airport with the widest network of destinations across Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East and North America.
The Abidjan service will be operated by the airline’s state-of-the-art Boeing 787 Dreamliner featuring 22 seats in Business Class and 232 seats in Economy Class.
