Qatar Airways to Transport Foreigners in Maldives

Qatar Airways has confirmed a flight to board from Velana International Airport on 21st April at 15 00. According to a press release by Ministry of Tourism, Qatar will be transporting all the tourists and foreign workers in the Maldives back to their home country.

All passengers with confirmed tickets to fly onboard QR675 are kindly requested to provide the details as per Ministry’s circular number 88-B/88/2020/27 dated 19th April, before 20th April, 23:59 to smu@tourism.gov.mv. Maldives Police Service will permit vessels/vehicles carrying passengers with confirmed tickets from their respective locations to the airport.

The Tourism Ministry requests all resorts, guesthouses and island councils to cooperate with the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tourist Police to extend all the necessary assistance to the passengers in reaching the airport. Further, passengers are requested to adhere with the relevant authorities.
