Ranked as one of the most prominent TV station in the Maldives, Raajje TV has signed with SATA to be their Broadcasting Media Partner for the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) 2022. As per the partnership, the TV station will be providing coverage during the 3-day event held in Maldives.
This year, President of SATA, Mr. Ismail Hameed has signed with many partners spanning different areas. The Platinum Partner for this year’s awards is the famous boat manufacturer, Al Shaali Marine Maldives. Both The Hawks Pvt Ltd and Velana International Airport (VIA) have signed as Gold Partners. The Hawks are leading importers of high-quality fuel products in the Maldives with over 12 years of experience in the field and has partnered with SATA in the past 6 consecutive years as well. VIA has also been a dedicated partner of the awards in previous editions and have facilitated support by providing wider exposure. The official host for this year’s awards is Adaaran Resorts.
Drawing in high-profile individuals and organisations from all across South Asia, the awards target three main industries, namely Travel, Tourism and Hospitality. The three-day event will see the participation of numerous stakeholders as they wait to see who takes the coveted accolades of this year. Featuring 39 categories, SATA awards 2022 received 500+ nominations from various countries in the region including Maldives, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan.
