The dazzling property of Reethi Beach Resort has announced a unique partnership with SHe Travel Club, an independent hotel label designed by women for women that certifies hotels meeting female guest expectations. By vetting properties around the world, SHe Travel Club paves way for its members to make informed decisions on their travels. Under this partnership with Reethi Beach Resort, the label will work towards reimagining and redefining the female travel and hospitality experience in the Maldives.
With their shared ambition to raise standards and provide an enhanced travel experience for women, Reethi Beach Resort will extend its support in the Maldives for SHe Travel Club members as a valued hospitality partner that already meets the requirements of female travellers. As such, the resort will be offering female travellers a SHe Signature Kit on demand at the reception alongside other added perks and benefits.
Although women represent approximately 64% of travellers worldwide, the findings of a global survey conducted by SHe revealed that 85% of women considered their needs to not be fully met within the industry. The survey polled 5000 women from five different regions of the world and managed to identify four main addressing pillars: Safety, Comfort, Service and Dining & Entertainment. Given this, SHe’s labelling process evaluates hotels against these four categories and awards them for all hotel segments based on three tiers: Silver, Gold, and Platinum.
At the moment, over 200 hotels have been certified by the SHe Label. Reethi Beach Resort is the first-ever resort to partner up with the label in the Maldives, joining hands with 200 other hotels and resorts across 26 different countries to advocate for a better travel experience for women. Reethi Beach Resort has been a constant force in the hospitality industry of the Maldives for more than 20 years and is a pioneer of long-term environmental commitments, evident from its Green Globe Certification. Located in the idyllic waters of Baa, a UNESCO biosphere reserve in the Maldives, the island allures guests with a call of true escapism.
