Building on this portfolio, the resort has turned to the expertise of Alma Afzal once again, this time as a PR and Marketing Specialist whose main task will be to explore growth opportunities to enhance their market positions continually.

Alma was part of the marketing team in the first year of Reethi Faru’s operations, having switched to RefCool Maldives Pvt Ltd as the Head of the Marketing Team alongside the company’s 4-star guesthouse, Season Paradise. Back then, she played a key role in the strategic setup of the marketing and branding pillars of the resort.

Alma's strong presence in the field of marketing, spanning across retail, commercial to hospitality sector will be of great advantage to the resort in maximizing their brand presence and enhancing the services to add more value for the customers. Her focus will be centered around the resort’s core driving force of their efforts with sustainability and conservation, making sure to bring the stories on to frontline by fashioning innovative marketing campaigns, ingenious collaborative endeavours, amplifying the resorts’ online, offline and social approach.
