
Ifuru Island Maldives is set to host the Raa Atoll Liquid Tasting on 26 June 2025, a private gathering of sommeliers, F&B experts, and hospitality leaders. Held in collaboration with The Liquid Concept, the event promises an immersive tasting experience in one of the Maldives’ most scenic settings.
Founded in 2021, The Liquid Concept is known for its thoughtful curation of wines, spirits, and innovative beverage solutions across the Indian Ocean. Their portfolio features everything from fine wines and champagnes to low- and no-alcohol alternatives, all selected with a focus on quality, sustainability, and storytelling.
The upcoming tasting on Ifuru Island will showcase over 40 international wine labels, giving guests a chance to explore different regions, winemaking styles, and stories behind each bottle. A three-course menu has also been specially designed to complement the wine pairings, enhancing the overall sensory experience.
In a shared move towards sustainability, the event will introduce the Bermar Wine & Champagne Preservation System, an advanced tool that helps resorts reduce waste by preserving opened bottles for longer.
