Rosewood Hotels-Branded Ultra Luxury Resort To Be Developed In Maldives By Estithmar Holding

Estithmar Holding, a Qatari investment company has unveiled plans to develop a Rosewood Hotels-branded ultra-luxury resort in the Maldives, scheduled to be opened in the first quarter of 2025. The investment company is renowned for its commitment to excellence and takes on an innovative project to develop a world-class luxury resort in the Maldives.

The ultra-luxe resort will be managed by the globally esteemed hotelier brand Rosewood Hotels & Resorts and will be developed by Estithmar Holding’s subsidiary, Royal Resorts. Aspiring to become a feat of architectural design, the property will feature approximately 120 beach and overwater villas, housing between 1 to 5 bedrooms and complemented by their own private pools. More pools will be dotted along selected locations on the island too together with a handful of world-renowned speciality restaurants.


The total investment for the resort development is valued at US$ 343 million and once finished will embody the perfect fusion of luxury and sophistication, demonstrated in all spaces and designs of the resort. At the heart of the resort, several facilities will be established to elevate guest experience further including a wellness centre, beach club and elegant dining spaces. Seeking to deliver guests experiential luxury, special amenities will be available to be availed, forming part of the distinctive experience.
