The splendacious property of The Standard, Huruvalhi Maldives is inviting Middle East’s leading wellness studio and holistic centre, SEVA Experience to have a wellness takeover at the property this International Women's Day. From 7-11th March 2023, SEVA Experience will be bringing its iconic yoga, meditation and holistic program to the resort, indulging guests in the best of wellness and well-being!
SEVA was incepted with the purpose of encouraging deep reflection and acknowledging life’s journey through an array of multifaceted practices. The Centre offers a space for conscious travellers to unwind and unplug while providing numerous learning opportunities for wellness seekers to restore balance in their daily lives. Coming this March to Huruvalhi Island in Raa Atoll, the property’s pristine 360˚ white powdery beaches and crystalline lagoon will serve as the ultimate backdrop for an awe-inspiring journey.
Alongside SEVA’s innovative program, guests can also make use of The Standard’s wellness offerings, including its daily yoga and meditation sessions. With a strong reputation in both, the partnership with SEVA will only elevate and enhance the wellness inclusions on the island. The five-day takeover will be hosted by the founder of SEVA, Eda, together with SEVA Table Head Chef Kiki and The Standard, Maldives resident Yogi Karan.
The packed 5-day calendar features a range of yoga practices, meditation sessions and breathwork exercises and includes a healthful menu curated by SEVA Table - Middle-East’s pioneering award-winning plant-based café. The kitchen takeover will happen at the Joos café, where guests will first-hand get the chance to try sustainable holistic bites during the duration of the partnership.
Some of the winning highlights of the program include ‘Kundalini in the Dark’ where a dark yoga & meditation class will be held in the glow of the full moon, and ‘International Women's Day chanting masterclass’, where womanhood is celebrated and honoured through the unique connection between the body and feminine power. Adding to this is a special cacao ceremony hosted at the Hammam Studio where two different cultures and traditions are brought together to open hearts and deep cleanse the systems. Daily nourishing boosts will also be available at the Tonic Bar.
Speaking on the upcoming takeover, founder of SEVA, Eda remarks “We have tailored an incredibly unique takeover in one of the most beautiful places in the world……, move, breath, chant, dance to let go of whatever is not serving you, and manifest a brand-new reality.” Prices start at USD 428 per night, exclusive of a 10% service charge and 16% GST. Guests can receive 35% off using the code ‘SEVA’ here.
