Siyam World Maldives Strengthens Leadership with Key Promotions

Siyam World Maldives has also promoted two senior leadership roles and this is a significant move by this resort in its quest to continue investing in talent development internally. Alee Siyam has been appointed to the position of Director of Operations after being promoted as an Executive Assistant Manager and Giselle Encinareal has been promoted to an Executive Assistant Manager after holding the position of Director of Talent and Culture.

Giselle comes with over 20 years of work experience in the luxury resorts in the Maldives. Her contribution to the culture of Siyam World is significant, given that she has been with Sun Siyam Resorts since 2022. As a part of her new role, she will manage Back-of-House operations that comprise Talent and Culture, Learning and Development, and Quality Assurance. Her management has been strongly intertwined with the expansion and improvement of teams, development, and preservation of the people-centered and cozy atmosphere of the resort.

The reason behind the promotion of Alee is the long-standing and gradual career development in Sun Siyam Resorts, starting with the Management Trainee programme in 2016. He also participated in the pre-opening of Siyam World and has further expanded due to different leadership positions. He will be the Director of Operations, who will be in charge of the overall operations of the resort and its tendencies on services flow, team coordination, and guest experience.

Both of the appointments were emphasized by senior leaders at Sun Siyam who pointed out that the values, professionalism, and devotion that Alee and Giselle bring to the resort are highly valued by them. Possessing these changes, Siyam World Maldives remains to enhance its culture of leadership, which is founded on the collaborative ethic, authenticity, and vision.
