St. Regis Maldives Hosts Italian Chef Renzi Gianluca for Tastemaker Series

The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort has declared the following installment of its revered Tastemaker Series and an exceptional Gastronomic venture in association with the Italian Chef Renzi Gianluca. The experience is scheduled in three days in January 2026 and welcomes guests to experience the contemporary Italian cuisine with curated dining events and an interactive masterclass.

The partnership will consist of two dinners with guests on intimate occasions on 21 and 23 January 2026, during which Chef Gianluca will offer specially designed menus based on his Italian origin, seasonal cuisine, and exquisite cooking methods. On 22 January, the guests will get a chance to participate in a masterclass organized by the chef, which will provide them with the understanding of his creative style and the philosophy of his cuisine.

The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort is situated on a private island within the Dhaalu Atoll and is characterized by unique architecture, seclusion of villas as well as the variety of dining experiences. The resort has a few signature restaurants, such as Alba with its Italian cuisine; Orientale with its Asian cuisine; Whale Bar located on the lagoon; and Cargo, which has several dishes based on the cuisines of the Indian Ocean with the night sky.

The residency of Chef Renzi Gianluca is an extension of the Tastemaker Series of the resort that has already featured such famous chefs as Gregory Doyen, Alexander Herrmann, and Jolly.
