Sleep Well by the Sea: The Westin Maldives Marks World Sleep Day with Relaxing Island Experiences

Sunday 8th of March 2026

To celebrate World Sleep Day, The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort will be welcoming guests to take a break and devote their attention to rest by spending a week in the company of wellness experiences based on the Sleep Well philosophy promoted by the brand.

The program will be held in March 7 to 13, 2026, and this will include inviting guests to leave the daily disturbances they may have and spending some quiet times in one of the most peaceful island environments in the Maldives. Those staying at the resort are able to experience considerate details that assist in the process of calming down such as Sleep Infusion Turndown that consists of chamomile, lavender and caffeine-free green tea.

The resort will also celebrate the World Sleep Day on March 13 by offering a special Yoga Nidra session, as taught by Heavenly Spa by Westin. The guided meditation is created to help achieve the deep relaxation of the body between sleep and wakefulness. There will be a sunset cocktail event later in the day with drinks that have sleep-friendly ingredients.

There is also an opportunity to find out where to go to be quiet on the whole island, as the resort provides the so-called Nap Map on which the guests will be able to have lunch breaks. Starting with hammocks in tropical forests and ending cozy beachfronts, every place gives one an opportunity to relax. To round out the experience, the breakfast service will be continued till noon on March 13.

The project is also an indication of the continued attention to sleep wellness in the resort, which is facilitated by the presence of the Heavenly 4 layers Bed, Sleep Well Lavender Balm, and the Sleep Well Menu that will focus on the light evening meals. The resort can also collaborate with Savvy Sleep specialists in the form of Westin Maldives Kids Sleep Manual by benefiting families.

The resort is situated in the Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, and incorporates nature, wellness, and thoughtful design to make the resort a relaxing holiday in the island.
