After a previous ban for travelers from South Asia to Maldives, Health Protection Agency Maldives has recommenced the travelling for the nationals once again.
HPA had released an announcement on December 15th, informing the South Asian Travelers who are fully vaccinated will now be able to travel without the need for quarantine.
However, if the traveler is not vaccinated, they are obliged for quarantining with PCR Tests in which the local agents are required to arrange. The government will no longer arrange the quarantining accommodations as per a recent change in the process.
The changes have come in a time where the new variant Omicron is still in large across the globe. Stay safe everyone!
