Sun Siyam Olhuveli is set to enhance its guest experience with the unveiling of newly refurbished Beach and Sunset Beach Pavilions, alongside the opening of the Maldives' longest pool, on March 1st, 2025. The resort's transformation combines a fresh design with refined luxury, aiming to redefine beachfront living in the Maldives.
The revamped Beach Pavilions, formerly known as Deluxe Rooms, now feature a modern yet approachable style that balances comfort and elegance. These two-story, four-room accommodations provide a seamless connection to their stunning surroundings, with private terraces offering uninterrupted views of the beach, lagoon, and ocean. The 40 Beach Pavilions face the lagoon, with direct beach and pool access, while the 60 Sunset Beach Pavilions offer spectacular sunset views, overlooking the newly constructed 210-meter pool, which is the longest in the Maldives.
Designed by London-based Studio Sixty7, the interiors emphasize a light, neutral palette, natural linens, and rich marble tiles in the bathrooms. This modern, open-plan layout enhances the connection to the outdoors, ensuring every space is filled with natural light and ocean views. The subtle design elements create a calming, home-like environment for guests seeking both relaxation and sophistication.
A major highlight of the renovation is the 210-meter long pool, which runs parallel to the beach and features a sunken pool bar for casual relaxation. A second 131-meter pool offers additional space for unwinding, both of which provide ocean-facing views that immerse guests in the stunning surroundings of the Maldives.
“We are confident that these uplifting changes, including our new pools and reimagined pavilions, will offer the best value-for-money beachfront experience in the Maldives,” says Hassan Adil, Assistant Group General Manager of Sun Siyam Resorts.
