The iconic Siyam World Maldives will bring a unique collaboration this International Yoga Day with Russian Yogi Anna Sologub or more commonly referred to as Aniko. A virtuoso of Vinyasa flow yoga, the Russian-based yogi teacher has been practising the arts for more than 10 years after starting out on her yoga journey back in 2006.
A transformative force in the yoga community, Aniko is also an avid blogger and retreat leader, well-reputed for her deep, creative and inspiring approach to yoga. Her teachings are focused on discovering the connection between breath, movement, mind and body with classes led in a dynamic manner that embodies a powerful flow for all guests.
Over at Sun Siyam Olhuveli, International Yoga Day will be marked with acclaimed Korean Yoga Instructor, Yeo Dong Gu. Yeo is a well-established Ululu Yoga Master and yoga teacher but perhaps well-known as the organizer and host of the famed Korea Yoga Festa. During his residency at Sun Siyam Olhuveli, he will lead classes on the island, helping guests embrace the health and wellness benefits of practising yoga.
A Doctoral Graduate from Kyung Hee University, Yeo also holds a Masters from Liaoning University of Chinese Medicine in China. He has also graduated from Wonkwang Digital University from the Department of Yoga and Meditation and is the author of several notable books. Some of his accredited works include Kid’s Yoga, Circle Yoga, Pelvic Floor Yoga, The Flow Yoga, Girl’s Yoga, Slimming Yoga, Mahahata Yoga and Himalayan Vinyasa Yoga.
