The Cocoon Collection’s January Highlights In The Maldives

The Cocoon Collection began 2023 on a good note with some exciting upgrades happening at both Maldivian properties; namely You & Me Maldives and Cocoon Maldives. Gastronomy was also elevated during the month with celebratory dinners and culinary events being hosted on the island resorts.

Water Slides at You & Me Maldives
The adults-only private island has enhanced its accommodation to include water slides at selected villas. The new feature will be available in all 10 units of the Aqua Suites as well as the chic You & Me Suite. To accommodate the water slides, the villas were remodelled and the slides were fitted to provide direct access from the terrace to the turquoise lagoon below.
You & Me Maldives’ water villas exude a rustic-chic charm, brought by designs of polished wooden floors, a sprawling outdoor deck area and thatched rooftops. Moreover, each villa also offers a spacious bathroom with rain shower facilities, a couple’s bathtub and a king-sized bed presiding over the azure expanses of the ocean. The suite is among the best seats in the house to watch a stunning sunset too!
Cocoon Maldives Opens Renovated Kids Village
The sister property revamped its facilities for the new year by giving a few upgrades to its Kids Village. Nestled on the western coast of the island, the Kids Village provides a brilliant concept for children spending their vacations at the resort. The refurbishments brought to the village include an indoor playground complete with an interactive learning area and cinema room.
Furthermore, the Kids Village will now feature a vast outdoor playground along with a ping-pong table and a kid’s pool for some water fun. Open from 10 am to 6 pm, the facility is complimentary for children aged 3-12 years and also offers babysitting services for babies and toddlers. A fun-packed activities programme is also conducted at the Kids Village every day.
Culinary Highlights
At You & Me Maldives, Michelin-starred Chef Andrea Berton entertained guests on New Year with an extravagant epicurean feast. He took residence at the resort from 3rd- 7th January 2023, delivering guests with unique flavours and appeasing palates with tantalizing creations.
On the other hand, Cocoon Maldives was hosting Truffle Week in the second week of January, delighting sweet tooths with delicious treats. Chef Giovanni de Ambrosis helmed the event from 8th to 10th January 2023, impressing the taste buds with drool-worthy desserts.
Enhanced 22-23 Fall Winter Sale
The Cocoon Collection also launched Fall Winter Sale this month at both Cocoon Maldives and You & Me Maldives. Guests planning to stay at the resort between now and 31st March 2023 can enjoy 30% off on room rates whereas stays between 1st-30th April 2023 can delight in 20% savings on room rates.
