The Nautilus Maldives Inaugurates The Nautilus Foundation

In remembrance of the late Dr. Ibrahim Umar Maniku, the Nautilus Maldives has announced the inauguration of the Nautilus Foundation- a public charity founded to build paths for a better future through increased opportunities in education, growth and development. The charity organization will serve the aim of expanding economic opportunities, improving health and inspiring community engagement via beneficial partnerships and relationships.
This philanthropic initiative serves the objective of creating the scope for Maldivians to reach their full potential, equipped with innovative strategies that will promote social development and result in long-term impacts. Incepted together with other partners belonging to the Dr. Maniku portfolio of companies, the foundation strives to support the development of creative and brilliant minds. As such, it will be providing various scholarships and grant programs for individuals seeking to excel in their fields.
The Nautilus Foundation honours and remembers the legacy of Dr. Ibrahim Umar Maniku, a visionary leader and pioneer in the Maldives. He was a mentor, a teacher, and a father figure to many who knew him, and was recognized for his confidence in creating what many would deem impossible.
