THE OZEN COLLECTION Strengthens Leadership with New General Manager Appointments

Maldives, 24 November 2025 THE OZEN COLLECTION has declared new management of its two award-winning Maldivian hotels, which is a significant achievement in an already celebrated year. Recently, the brand has had new General Managers to run OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI and OZEN LIFE MAADHOO, which serves its future expansion in the Indian Ocean.

Mr Tomas David Castaño is brought in as a replacement of the General Manager of OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI. He comes with vast international experience of being a leader in Spain, New Zealand, Chile, Mozambique, Tanzania, Cook Islands, Bhutan and the Maldives. Like him, he has said that being part of THE OZEN COLLECTION in a time of high global awareness is a momentous occasion, the resort is still redefining personalised luxury.

His entrance coincided with the resort recording a number of impressive victories in the resort industry, such as the MICHELIN Key, the Best All-Inclusive Wine List award at the World’s Best Wine Lists Awards 2025, and more success at the World Travel Awards. OZEN RESERVE BOLifushi boasts of its RESERVE ™ Plan, its personalized Hiyani butler service and unique design of the villa.

At the same time, OZEN LIFE MAADHOO starts its second chapter with the help of Ms Mei P. Pun, whose career in leadership has involved top positions at Atmosphere Kanifushi and VARU by Atmosphere. The resort has recently won Tripadvisor Travellers Choice Awards BEST of the best 2025 and Sustainable Champion at the Hotelier Maldives Awards. Its magnificent M6m underwater restaurant, rainbow house reef and INDULGENCE ™ Plan are still its main attractions.
