November 25, 2025, MALDIVES, Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort and Spa have declared the elevation of Meigan Saldanha to Rooms Division Manager, which is a significant advancement in his 30-year hospitality career. His new position becomes effective in November 2025 and can further enhance the resolve by the resort to redefine the satisfaction of its guests and ensure a strong coordination among all the departments that interact directly with the guests.
Meigan has nearly twenty years experience in management of luxury hotels within the Maldives, Seychelles, Dubai and India where he has received respect in terms of leadership style and his knowledge in operations. He has been at the center of designing the guest journeys at the resort since his time of joining it in 2023 as Front Office Manager through his approachable leadership and consistent direction. The close relationship with his guests and colleagues is one of the indications of his warm and sincere service that characterizes the Sheraton brand.
At the resort, Meigan has proven to be committed to efficient operations, especially when the resort is at full capacity and when the staff has to deal with stressful circumstances and demanding services. At his new job, he will focus on the aspects of enhancing the arrival experiences, coordinating the activities of the Front Office and Housekeeping, and making sure that the service delivery at every contact point with guests should remain flawless. His vision is to have a Rooms Division that is founded on harmony, efficiency, and warm hospitality.
The promotion of Meigan was celebrated by the general manager Greg Allan who stated the inherent leadership of Meigan and the good impact he had on the staff. Meigan was appreciative of the chance to do so, noting that his step is particularly significant because it was his first time working in one of the Marriott properties.
