The Ritz-Carlton Maldives Appoints Oscar Postma as General Manager

The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands has announced the appointment of Oscar Postma as the resort’s new General Manager. With more than 25 years of experience in luxury hospitality and corporate leadership across Asia, Europe, and the United States, Postma brings a strong background in operations and strategic management to the role.

Known for his collaborative leadership and innovative approach, Postma has led some of the world’s top hotel properties through key transitions, renovations, and brand transformations. Most recently, he served as Cluster Operations General Manager for Conrad Singapore Orchard and Conrad Centennial Singapore, where he oversaw operations across both hotels. Before that, he was General Manager at Regent Singapore, successfully guiding the property through a major brand transition while achieving record-breaking results in food and beverage performance.

Postma is also well-acquainted with the Marriott luxury brand portfolio. He previously served as Executive Assistant Manager, Rooms, at The St. Regis Singapore and The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore. His new position at The Ritz-Carlton Maldives marks a return to the brand and its long-standing reputation for exceptional service.

As General Manager, Postma will lead all aspects of the resort’s operations, working closely with a diverse and dedicated team. His focus will be on maintaining the high standards The Ritz-Carlton is known for, while enhancing the overall guest journey through personalized, intuitive service. His experience in team development and building strong owner partnerships further reinforces his ability to steer the resort toward continued success.
