Bandos Maldives Reopens Gallery Restaurant After Major Makeover

Bandos Maldives has officially reopened its main buffet venue, the Gallery Restaurant, on 1st June 2025 after a major renovation—the first since its construction in 2004.

The upgrade was led by local firm Hannaan Architects with interiors by AIDIZ Interior Design. The result is a more spacious and stylish dining area that blends modern design with the resort’s long-standing character.

As one of the first resorts in the Maldives, Bandos continues to honour its legacy while embracing change. The refreshed Gallery Restaurant is seen as a reflection of this balance between tradition and progress.

General Manager Ismail Rasheed stated that the goal was to keep the essence of Bandos intact while bringing a fresh, elegant look to the restaurant. He added that the renovation not only enhances the dining experience but also highlights the resort’s commitment to continuous growth and improvement.
