This June, The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands is preparing to host an unforgettable Eid Al-Adha by bringing an immersive programme of Fari Island experiences to mark the auspicious festivities. The celebrations follow the resort’s milestone second anniversary and will unfold against the exquisite luxury of the design masterpiece resort in the form of exceptional culinary adventures and performances.

From 28th June to 3rd July 2023, guests can expect to be enthralled by the magic of Eid Al-Adha as The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands poses as the ideal setting for a blissful Eid escape. The celebrations will kick off with a signature ‘Maldivian Night’, where dishes inspired by tropical ingredients and simple spices will take centre stage to merge the flavours from the south and north of Maldives.

On 30th June, guests can look forward to ‘The Souk’ - a dazzling sundown experience at the ocean-side venue Beach Shack which will play host to belly dancers and a live fire show. An evening of culinary extravagance follows on 2nd July with a ‘Bedouin Barbeque’ bringing moreish flavours and a live Oud performance to the serenity of the Mystique Garden.

Guests extending their Eid stays can experience the eclectic musical wonder of Cairo and Montreal-based performer, Ash who would be performing at the property on July 4th and 5th respectively. Ash will entertain guests with a Sunset ‘Nomad Session’ on July 4th at Mystique Garden whereas on July 5th guests can b in a 7e enchanted by a 75-minute-long sunset show. The latter will be performed on an overwater stage perched above the resort’s perfectly circular infinity pool at EAU Bar, giving guests the illusion that he’s floating while he delivers a stunning performance including unreleased tracks.

In addition to all this, guests of all ages holidaying at The Ritz-Carlton property can experience a glimpse of traditional Maldivian culture during their time. Adults can discover the intricate art of Kasabu - made for special occasions like Eid - through an embroidery workshop where the ancient skill will be spotlighted using woven silk, metallics and cotton. Moreover, romantic painting workshops will also be hosted on the beachside at sunset for couples.

Over at Ritz Kids, an interactive and engaging programme of festive activities will take place. During the Eid period, Junior VIPs can craft Eid decorations with ceramics and tie-dye, embark on a scavenger hunt and make traditional Eid cookies with the resort’s culinary team.
