The two Loss Prevention Supervisors at Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Ibrahim Hassan & Mohamed Sawad, are dedicated soldiers who served our country in the National Defense Force, MNDF, for many years. Known for their integrity, professionalism and dedication, the two ex-soldiers joined the hospitality industry with little to no experience not knowing how difficult the transition would be.
Started as security officers at Loss Prevention, the two were quickly promoted as Security Supervisors due to their hard work and true dedication and willingness to move forward. Nonetheless, the training from the army and the discipline they were taught helped them with the transition. Hassan and Sawad never let go of their ambitions and are highly celebrated by the resort today.
Expressing his love for the property and the family at Ritz Carlton Maldives, Hassan thanked the hosts from all the departments for their positive attitudes and appreciated the training he got. Following this, Sawad also expressed his gratitude towards the resort and their employees for being patient throughout their training and for valuing their hard work.
Hassan and Sawad with their diversified work backgrounds, have not only proven to show many of their former colleagues how to successfully integrate into civilian life and the public sector, but they have also become an inspiration to those who believe that army personnel are anything but hospitable and friendly.
