UAE-headquartered TIME Hotels is making a significant move into the Asian market with the introduction of two new brands, HALO by TIME and VIVI by TIME. This announcement was made during the Future Hospitality Summit in Dubai, with both brands scheduled to debut in the Maldives in the fourth quarter of 2026.
This expansion reflects the continued growth of TIME Hotels, which currently operates properties across the UAE, Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, and Liberia. The new hotels will be situated on Hankede Island in the Addu Atoll, the southernmost atoll in the Maldives.
VIVI by TIME will be a lifestyle brand featuring 75 rooms spread over six stories, providing stunning sea views and top-notch facilities. Meanwhile, HALO by TIME will be an upscale offering with 150 keys, including unique overwater villas designed for breathtaking sunrise and sunset experiences.
TIME Hotels is partnering with the Maldives Fund Management Corporation (MFMC) for this launch. MFMC is a state-owned entity established to enhance private sector investment in the Maldives and support national development goals.
Mohamed Awadalla, CEO of TIME Hotels, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, marking it as a pivotal moment for the brand. Ahmed Nazim, Managing Director of MFMC, noted the importance of this collaboration in advancing the Maldives' hospitality sector.
With these exciting developments, TIME Hotels aims to set new standards in luxury and lifestyle hospitality in the Maldives.
