Turkish Airlines Increases Flights To Maldives

Turkey's leading airline now flies eleven times a week between iGA Istanbul Airport and Velana International Airport (VIA).

Turkish Airlines will add an extra flight to its daily schedule on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays that will flight to Velana International Airport making it a whooping 11 flights in total per week!

Turkish Airlines began flying to the Maldives again on July 24, 2020, with weekly flights, which were eventually upgraded to daily flights in January 2021.

According to Ministry of Tourism data released on November 2nd, Turkish Airlines is the seventh most popular scheduled airline flying to the Maldives this year, with 56,712 passengers and 880 movements.
