Two OBLU Resorts Step Up CSR Initiative With Generous Donation

Colours of OBLU Resorts, OBLU Xperience Ailafushi and OBLU SELECT Lobigili have organised a donation to the home for people with special needs at K.Guraidhoo. The initiative was facilitated under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy with fundraising events hosted in the resorts on 10th February 2023. Colleagues who donated to the cause were given a cupcake along with a thank you card to recognise their contributions.

From the money generated through the fundraiser, MVR 50,000 was allocated to procure essential linen for the institute including pillows, pillow covers, bedsheets and waterproof mattress protectors. Afterwards, the General Manager of OBLU Xperience Ailafushi and OBLU SELECT Lobigili visited the institute on 25th February together with the Resort Management and Welfare Committee. During their visit, they were provided with a tour of the institute and a small ceremony was held to mark the handover.

Both resorts are committed to catering towards meaningful and impactful initiatives that help support local communities in the Maldives. This donation also aligns with the core philosophy of the brand ‘Joy of Giving’. OBLU Xperience Ailafushi is a carefree four-star resort whereas OBLU SELECT Lobigili is an adults-exclusive five-star getaway, both brought by COLOURS OF OBLU.
