Update on Traveler Declaration Form as Announced by Maldives Immigration!

Tuesday 21st of June 2022

Maldives Immigration has informed about the new update on The Traveller Declaration form, also known as the electronic embarkation / disembarkation form. It has been improved to enhance the customer experience and reduce the time spent filling out the form by the traveler. The auto-fillable personal information and the time limit for submitting the form are two major changes.

As a result, when you take a photo of the passport's bio-data page and upload it, the personal information will be automatically filled in. It is more convenient because travelers can take and upload instant images of their passports. Additionally, the time limit has been extended, allowing travelers to submit the form within 96 hours of their flight's arrival and departure times.

You can also double-check your submission by clicking the "Check My QR Code" button, which will confirm that you have completed the form. Other parties can use the QR code to confirm that you have completed the Traveler Declaration form.
