Villa Resorts Appoints Giovanni Castelli As Sales Representative For Italy & Spain

The hotelier brand, Villa Resorts has announced the appointment of Giovanni Castelli as its new Sales Representative for the Italian and Spain markets. He steps in at a pivotal time for the brand as Villa Resorts embarks on an elevated transformational journey at its property resorts.

Giovanni brings to the Villa Resorts brand extensive knowledge and insight with more than 25 years of experience in sales operations in the tourism industry. Throughout his career, he has filled in multiple high-profile positions including Regional Manager and Operations Director at various luxury hotel chains and has a strong reputation in the promotion and sales of tropical destinations like the Maldives.

Under his new role, he will be helming the strategic developments of both the Italian and Spanish markets, aligning with the brand’s elevated transformational journey and contemporary vision. Italy has long since been a traditional market for the Maldives and is currently presiding as the 2nd top-source market for the Maldives with approximately 11% market share.

Prior to joining the team at Villa Resorts, Giovanni worked alongside several luxury hotel groups operating in the Mediterranean, Indian Ocean and the Caribbean. During his time at these tropical destinations, he has mostly served positions within the hotel management sector, building his impressive career in the hospitality and sales industry.
