Visit Maldives hosts marketing campaign targeting one of the biggest markets to Maldives, the Indian Market. In association with India’s Online Travel Agency, Yatra and Go First airline, the marketing campaign is set to be taking place for 3 months from November 8th on wards. The aim of the campaign is to reach the pre-pandemic target of tourist arrivals to Maldives. The campaign is estimated to make 5,891,750 impressions through the ads. It will possibly assist in 7k+ bookings in the future.
Speaking about the campaign, the Managing Director of Visit Maldives, Thoyyib Mohamed shared his enthusiasm towards the Indian Market, stating it being an important source to the Maldivian tourism. He also highlighted the stringent measures in place, for the safety of visitors, at all our resorts, hotels, guesthouses and live-aboards. Following up, the Senior VP and Business Head of Yatra, Mayur Oberoi expressed his interest in promoting Maldives once again after the pandemic downfall, and is ready to revive the market to its full form. Yatra will be using all their communication channels to create buzz around the Maldives.
