Under the campaign, Visit Maldives and Bluvacanze will hold B2B and B2C promotional activities using different approaches like email marketing, digital communication, social media posts and webinar for the Italian travel trade and tourists.

It is one of the largest and most important Italian tourism companies that own the Blunet brands, the Tour Operator Going and Cisalpina Tours and is also the leading Italian Company in Business Travel Management.
This campaign will promote the Maldivian resorts, hotel, guest houses and live-aboards along with experiences unique to the Maldives. So far, Visit Maldives has held several activities to promote this market and many are planned for the future as well.
Prior to the pandemic Italy was ranked as the top 4th market to the Maldives, however due to the travel restriction caused by the pandemic, it has led to a downfall of the arrivals from Italy. Soon enough, the Italian government established a travel corridor with tourist destinations including the Maldives which allows Italians to travel without quarantine-on-arrival upon returning to Italy.
