By running in this event, you raise funds that would support all thalassemia patients to get access to proper treatment as well as those in need of bone marrow transplants and also enable the procurement of crucial yet expensive medical items such as Thalaset needles that are not available in the mainstream health facility.

The funds raised from this event will also be used to support the operations of the psycho-social support hotline established to support people of every age group, mentally affected by Covid-19 and to secure food, sanitary and cleaning products, for migrant workers in the Maldives, whose families as well as themselves are affected by Covid-19 due to pay-cuts and loss of employment.
