The 5-star Italian luxury group, The Emerald Collection has unveiled the newest addition joining their star-struck lineup with the opening of Emerald Faarufushi Resort & Spa. This marks the second 5-star luxury resort of theirs in the Maldives, located 20 minutes away from the other property, Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa.
Nestled in a pristine 1000-hectare private lagoon in the scenic Raa Atoll, Emerald Faarufushi is home to its own house reef and is teeming with lush green canopies. The brand-new resort also showcases the Emerald Collection’s signature Deluxe All-Inclusive service formula by offering high-quality services as a member of The Leading Hotels of the World.
The vast island spanning 7-hectures features 80 ultra-modern, independent villas with some villas making a debut on the lagoon overwater. As for dining, guests can immerse in various international cuisines within the 5 exclusive restaurants scattered across the property while indulging in exotic concoctions at the 2 contemporary bars.
Moreover, Emerald Faarufushi also contain The Emerald Spa, comprising of 8 treatment rooms in the unique concept of treehouses and has a dedicated Sports Centre equipped with professional Technogym machines and equipment. Other recreational facilities found in the resort include tennis and padel courts along with an interactive edutainment programme for children and teens in the Dolphin Kids Club.
