Fresh Leadership Takes Charge Across Atmosphere Core Resorts

Atmosphere Core has declared three significant appointments of its leadership within the portfolio of its resorts, and it reflects how the company is dedicated to delivering excellence in its operations as well as its innovation of being guest-centered. The new General Managers will manage renowned properties of the brand, Atmosphere Hotels and Resorts and COLOURS of OBLU, as part of the overall strategy of the brand to increase synergy and ensure high standards in the brand in the expansion of its presence.

Mr. Mario Stanic replaces Mr. Alvin as the General Manager in RAAYA by Atmosphere. Having a background of the Australian origin and over 30 years of experience working in the realm of luxury hospitality in the Maldives, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, Mario is well known to transform the journeys of the guests by being innovative and warmly serving them. He intends to provide a memorable emotional experience through his work with the teamwork and sincere relationship.

Mr. Maurice Van Den Bosch is another Australian-born who assumes leadership at VARU by Atmosphere. With 25 years experience in the Maldives, Sri Lanka and the Caribbean, Maurice has a reputation of transforming strategic objectives into powerful outcomes and motivating multicultural workforces. He worked his way up the leadership hierarchy at Atmosphere Kanifushi and RAAYA by Atmosphere, and currently aims to direct the vibrant spirit of VARU into the memorable moments of the guest experience.

Mr. Brett Craig Castleman, a veteran in the hospitality industry and with 27 years of international experience is joining OBLU SELECT Sangeli as the General Manager. His South African friendliness, teamwork approach and understanding of the operations have helped develop his method of developing meaningful people-centred experiences.

Mr. Ashwin Handa, who is the COO of Atmosphere Core, observed that the three leaders have global experience as well as a sense of commitment to the company philosophy of heartfelt hospitality, which makes it more committed to fulfilling the mission of offering the Joy of Giving.
