Hassan Saaid - The Usain Bolt of Maldives

In South Asian Games 2019, Hassan Saaid wins a gold medal in 100 meters race. This is the first time a Maldivian earned a gold medal in 35 years of the Games. Saaid beat the previous gold medalist of Sri Lanka by just 0.1 seconds! Named as the Super-athlete of Maldives, Saaid completed the race in 10.49 seconds.

In 2018, he won silver medal in South Asian Games. However, in 2015, he won gold medal in Indian Ocean Island Games and International Multi Games, making him the most successful athlete in Maldives. We can’t wait to see what the runner achieves in the future.
