The restaurant has rolled out an all-new dinner menu that has been further enhanced with home-grown ingredients on the island. Based off the very talented Executive Chef Christian Wiedenmann’s concepts, fragrant herbs and aromatic spices are portioned out to perfectly bring out the authentic tastes of freshly-caught seafood delivered by locals from nearby islands in the atoll.
“Dining at Aqua is truly an immersive culinary journey through the region’s unique flavours,” says Chef Christian. Indeed, the island fishermen deliver their trusted catch to be paired with organic produce and voila – your dinner is served! “Each dish is elevated with a local Maldivian twist, and a dash of island’s spice served in an inspiring setting over the turquoise lagoon.”
Served with vegetables, pickled salads, curries, and steamed rice on the side, from lobsters to catch of the day accompany your main dish. And to wrap it with a bow, your butler will suggest a smooth bottle of bubbles from the handpicked selection of wine to go along with the dinner.

Welcomed with a traditional ‘kurumba’ drink, the ambiance at the chic restaurant comes to life with Maldivian music in the background.
